At the direction of the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, due to the tragic events that unfolded over the weekend the Foundation is postponing the NOLApalooza 5K previously scheduled for the morning of Saturday, July 23 for the safety of both the runners and the officers assigned to the race. The 5k will be rescheduled for a date later this year. The evening concert event at the Varsity Theatre will go on as scheduled this Saturday night.
All entry fees for the 5k portion of Saturday’s events will be refunded within the next 14 days. Comped 5k entries and discount codes will be honored during registration for the rescheduled event, and more information will follow regarding same.
